GENERAL
: HITESH INDUSTRIES has been manufacturing quality "FIREND
BRAND" synthetic
foam components that contains fluorocarbon surfactants when
applied to the surface of nonpolar liquids that are not miscible
with
water a film of water forms under the foam. This allows the
foam to spread quickly over large areas of burning liquid.
These products
can be foamed with portable, river and seawater and clean
process water. Highly effective on hydro carbon liquids giving
exceptional
extinction times and providing excellent burn back, resistance
and stability with effective scaling against hot edges. Due
to its aqueous film forming characterices it may be applied
as unaspirated
spray forming from fixed or portable equipment on to spill
fires. High penetrating and wetting abilities makes, these
foam concentrate
effective in class ‘A’ fires also. These concentrates
manufactured and tested as per IS - 4989 (Part-II). |

STORAGE
: AFFF 3% / 6% can be stored in FRP Containers
for minimum 10 years at 20°C maximum temperature should not
exceed 40°C. |

PACKING
: AFFF 3% / 6% is available in 20 ltrs PVC
can and 550 mml PVC containers. In its original packing the concentrate
has got shelf life of 20 years (at 20°C) pre mix solution
have a life span of 5 years. |

BRAND"Fire Extinguishing dry chemical powders. Our
new modern manufacturing facility at METODA-Rajkot is equipped
with the latest in chemical producing equipment. The range
of dry powders based on, monoammonium Phosphate, Sodium
bicarbonate, Potassium bicarbonate, Potassium chloride
and sodiumchloride.The well known quality of Hitesh Industries
manufactured by dry chemical powder is the direct result
of many years of constant product research development.One
of the special procedures used during the manufacturing
cycle is the siliconization treatment of the powder. This
provides resistance to packing, moisture absorption (caking)
and ensure proper flow characteristics. Constant quality
control checks are used during the powder Manufacturing
process.These checks include, control of the powder composition
particle size through sieve analysis, bulk density, moisture
content and hygroscopicity. The end result is a powder
that is cost effective with maximum Fire Extinguishing
performance versatility and storage stability.The term " regular
and standard" dry chemical normally refers to a dry
chemical that is suitable for use on either class B or
C type fires. These powders are either sodium bicarbonate
or potassium bicarbonate based. In most instances the powder
being referred to is the sodium bicarbonate type. This
powder is normally white in colour.

STORAGE
: Dry powder stored in portable extinguishers
and large vessels, give satisfactory performance upto 1
1/2 years
and in some cases upto 2 years. caking and lump formation
tendencies are lowest, hence under normal storage conditions,
powder need not be inspected upto 1 1/2 years. The powder
retains its original properties for longest period when
storage temperature is 4°C to 50°C. |
